COFFEE DATES

When I was a little girl my mother worked away from home. But, somehow, she still often managed to have a few friends over for coffee, dessert and conversation. I loved when this would happen! I remember thinking when I grow up I am going to have ladies over for coffee!!

I am happy to say I have been able to follow through with my little girl plans of having friends over for a cup of coffee. Sometimes, there is a special dessert and sometimes there is not. But, there is always coffee, laughter and good conversation. I think all of us, that come together in this way, can say we feel rejuvenated and happy when we leave. A get together for coffee, or any get together with your friends, is so worth the effort! Instead of coffee you could always serve tea or a glass of wine. The possibilities are endless.

Always know it is okay to pick a dessert up from the store. Don’t let the feelings of I need to impress someone or my house isn’t clean enough ever stop you from following through. I promise your friends won’t care. So put on your lipstick and LIVE!
